At Scott Collins @realty we believe that the agent you select to sell your biggest asset should be a professional. A true real estate professional should protect their seller's interests by agreeing to pay for the advertising should the home not sell.
Some of the benefits of selecting an agent that offers a “No Sale – No Charge” policy are as follows:
The seller remains in control of the sale of their biggest asset. The agent cannot present an offer to the seller and use the advertising bill as leverage.
The agent is incentivised to be honest about the potential sale price. Strike the perfect balance. The agent will neither want to lose out on the business by being too conservative and at the same time won't want to overquote a seller and end up not being able to deliver.
The agent’s and seller’s interests are better aligned. The agent gets paid only when the seller gets a sale.
Reduced stress. Selecting an agent that offers a “No Sale – No Charge” policy means that the owner can relax and await the outcome without the added financial burden of having to pay the advertising bill if they don’t achieve a successful sale.
The seller can walk away from the sale. Circumstances change. Good agents understand that if they do a good job but now isn’t the right time for someone to sell their home, that’s ok – they’ll be back one day!
